If you want better control for diabetes it’s important to take into consideration the amount of simple sugars consumed in your diet. Consumption of simple sugars (For example, table sugar, honey, brown sugar, glucose, molasses, and syrup) is best to be avoided as it will cause the instant release of sugar into the blood vessels, causing a spike in blood sugar levels. Hence, it is important to consume simple sugars in moderation. These are a few examples of how you can reduce your simple sugar intake in your daily diet.
